FPD was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Republic of the Philippines on December 7, 1993 with registration number AN94-197. It is a voluntary consortium of non-government organizations working together for greater effectiveness and synergy towards genuine people development through savings mobilization, values formation, entrepreneurial development, and business networking. FPD takes the lead in organizing enterprise development schools in the countryside for improving the lives of small farmers and their families.
