Tevis Howard, who currently serves as Executive Director, founded KOMAZA in 2006. He launched KOMAZA to create income-generating opportunities for smallholder farmers living in Kenya’s infertile and drought-prone regions. He has since dedicated his efforts to growing and strengthening the organization. KOMAZA provides farmers with the inputs and training they need to grow fast-growing trees on their unused land to generate life-changing income for their families and create a sustainable wood supply for growing local markets.
