Rise Kenya assists the community develop their capacity so that they are in turn able to fight their own poverty, famine, HIV/AIDs and environmental degradation. It collaborates with various funding companies both locally and internationally. Its programs range from Mango plantinh in Kilifi county to educational partnerships with Catholic University. They have provided Solar Lighting Systems in 9 primary schools and trained over 100 Community Resource Persons. Have over the last 3 years trained and sourced for markets for African sisal baskets for over 2,000 of our Women members.
